About Us

We are a Worthing based amateur dramatics company comprising nine performing artists plus a stage assistant.

GROP writes and produces all its own material, and gave its first public performance  in late 2006.

We perform solely to help charities and other good causes, and to date we have helped to raise funds in excess of £36,600.

It’s not just about the money though – we aim to entertain while having a good time ourselves.

For a fund raising evening with a difference, why not invite us to perform for you?

What clients say about us

“Last Friday 4SIGHT held a ‘Murder Mystery’ evening at the Assembly Rooms in Chichester.  The Goring Region Occasional Players performed ‘Murder at the Health Club’ throughout the evening which kept the 90 strong audience on the edge of their seats and helped raised nearly £1,000 for 4SIGHT (West Sussex Association for the Blind).  4SIGHT would like to extend their thanks to GROP for donating their time so kindly and for providing great entertainment”.

“Thank you so much for the murder mystery event you did for us last weekend. It was such a great success, and everyone really enjoyed themselves. You are such a great group of people giving up your own time to help many charities and it was so much appreciated you doing this for the CoCos Foundation, having raised just over £1000 for the evening”. (Murder At The Village Hall).

“Agatha Christie meets Spinal Tap” – quote from an audience member at Murder In The Music.

“Thank you and all you players for all your hard work in making last night such a success and enjoyable evening.” – Macmillan.   (Murder: A Fete worse than Death).

“Everyone is saying how much they enjoyed the evening and all you actors. I’m being asked to let people know when the next one is already. So a big thank you to you and the rest of GROP”  (St Barnabas fundraiser – Murder: A Fete worse than Death).

“..please pass on our gratitude and thanks to you all for supporting us and giving us a fabulous evening of entertainment” – Selsey Methodists. (Murder: A Fete worse than Death)
